A taste of Scandinavian Christmas in Astana

Sunday 4th of December, the international community in Astana arranged the International Christmas Charity bazaar.
The Nordic embassies in Astana –Finland, Sweden and Norway– shared a stand where they offered Finnish Christmas sweets, Swedish mulled wine and Norwegian smoked salmon snacks. Also, at the stand visitors had an opportunity to meet Santa Claus, listen to Norwegian traditional music played on the hardingfele and to test their knowledge in quizzes.
